Issue.
Actions applied to a button from a shared library fail in Test Movie and final SWF.

Reason
When linking to an asset in a shared library, the asset is referenced as an external file, but the asset file is not added to the movie. The symbol is not contained in the actual movie, and the actions are not present in the movie calling the shared asset. The result being that the actions don't work.

This is visible when editing a symbol from the shared library. Attempting to edit the symbol results in the alert dialog:
"This symbol is imported from a Shared Library. If you edit this symbol, it will no longer be imported. Do you want to continue?".

Solution
The only way to place actions on a button is to fully import the symbol from the document in which it is contained. There is no way to attach actions to a shared library button.
